On this tour you have the best of both worlds......bush and ocean! Enjoy this 19 day adventure tour with us on our fully equiped Overland vehicle. We start off by heading into Swaziland for some up close and personal sightings of various animals while on foot, horse back or bicycle.
Then to Mozambique for 14 unforgettable dives where you can encounter a large variete of see life, from the majestic whale sharks and manta rays to the smallest seehorses and nudibranches
From here we head back into South Africa to the world famous Kruger National Park, where we spend the next 3 days game driving through the park.

Twana Lodge: Your airport transfer will bring you to your first stop in Pretoria. |
Day 2: |
Swaziland - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary: Today we cross the border into Swaziland – if time allows you can visit a local market where you can buy some gifts to take home. |
Day 3: | Swaziland - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary:
Today you have the day free to wonder around the Game Reserve on foot amonst the animals, do some horse riding or mountain biking or various other activities. The reserve has a lake with hippos and crocodiles and a variety of antelope and hiking trails. A must see is the Roan antilope breeding project that was intruduced a few years ago. |
Day 4: |
Mozambique - Marracuene: After crossing the border from Swaziland to Mozambique, we head to the beach where you camp at Jayz Beach Lodge. |
Day 5: | Tofo:
On the way to Tofo,you drive through the town of Inhambane. Inhambane is one of the oldest settlements on Mozambique's eastern coast. Dhows traded here as early as the 11th century. Once you leave Inhambane, you drive another 24 km to the coast to Tofo. After arrival you head to the dive centre to get introduced to the staff and get your equipment sorted. |
Day 6: |
Tofo: It's known for the curved Tofo Beach and nearby coral reefs. Huge manta rays circle at Manta Reef, a well-known “cleaning station,” attracting small fish that feed off the rays’ parasites and other debris. Dolphins, whale sharks and migratory humpback whales also swim off the coast, in the waters of the Indian Ocean. 2 dives are planned for today. |

Tofo: Another 2 dives are planned for today. |
Day 8: |
Vilanculos: Vilanculos is the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. Dhow's travel between the town and the Bazaruto Archipelago daily. The coral reefs in the Bazaruto area are regarded as some of the most diverse and least disturbed in the Western Indian Ocean. Two Mile Reef situated to the east of the park and between Bazaruto & Benguerra Island is particularly well known as a snorkelling and diving site internationally. |
Day 9: |
Vilanculos: Your dive boat will collect you from the lodge and take you to Two Mile reef for 2 dives on this large reef with several dive sites, as a general overview a whole mix of all types of coral, rocks, boulders, swim thru's, and overhangs. Turtles are common with 5 species in the area, large numbers of reef fish (Surgeon, Moorish Idols, Parrot, Angel and Butterfly fish to name but a few), Rays, Game fish and Nurse Sharks are just some of the wonders to see here. |

Vilanculos: Another 2 dives are planned for today. |

Vilanculos: Another 2 dives are planned for today. |
Day 12: |
Morrungulo: You spend the next couple of days diving at Morrungulo. It has been voted as one of the best beaches of the Inhambane area. |
Day 13: | Morrungulo:
Today you can do another 2 dives on the prestine Sylvia Shoal reef. Exploring the secret world of fascinating vibrant corals and other marine life on Sylvia Shoal Reef, which is well known as one of the world's finest diving spots. Your opportunity to see Mozambique’s gentle giants - whale sharks and manta rays. Sylvia Shoal is approximately 14 km long with an average depth of 10m. Truly an amazing reef which has hardly been explored. |
Day 14: |
Zavora: You head further south to Zavora Lodge, which is situated on one of the finest stretches of coastline in the Inhambane province. The lodge consists of a bar and restaurant, beachfront houses, bungalows and campsites. |
Day 15: |
Zavora: Today you have 2 dives to explore the beauty of the ocean. Zavora has a 12-20m deep Manta cleaning station, but also a wide variety of other interesing things to see, like Moray eels, Nudibranchs, Spanish Dancers, Frog fish, etc. |
Day 16: | Kruger National Park:
Leaving the coolness of the ocean behind, we head back across the border to South Africa where you can spend the next 3 nights in the bush. |
Day 17: |
Kruger National Park: Spend the day game driving looking for animals, such as Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Rhinos and Leopard. Don't just focus on the Big 5, but also see the beauty in the small things. |
Day 18: |
Kruger Nationla Park: We spend the last day with yet another full day game drive. You can also do a night drive or morning walk. (Optionla activities) |
Day 19: |
Twana Lodge: We head back to base camp for our last evening together. |
