On this tour we combine the beauty of the salt water diving in Mozambique with the fresh water of Lake Malawi. Not only do you get to experience the abundant sea life of the underwater world, but also the beauty of the WILD! We visit Kruger National Park in South Africa as well as Liwonde National Park. Liwonde National Park runs along the Shire River and is part of Lake Malombe. What makes this park so special is the endangered Black Rhino's and rare birdlife species like the Pel's Fishing Owl and the Lilian's Lovebirds.

Tour price includes: All transport in our fully equiped Overland vehicle, camping equipment, cooking equipment. Swaziland - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary Today is a drive day and we cross the border into Swaziland – if time allows we will visit a local market where you can buy some gifts to take home. |
Day 3 |
Swaziland - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary Today you have the day free to wonder around the Game Reserve on foot amonst the animals, do some horse riding or mountain biking. The reserve has a lake with hippos and crocodiles and a variety of antelope and hiking trails. A must see is the Roan antilope breeding project that was intruduced a few years ago. |
Day 4 |
Kruger National Park We spend the next 2 nights in one of Africa’s largest game reserves. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hundreds of other mammals make their home here, as do diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests are all part of the landscape. |

Mozambique - Jayz Beach Lodge We cross into Mozambique today and head to the Marracuene Districk where we camp on the beach. |
Day 7 |
Tofo Off to our first dive spot in Tofo. We drive through the town of Inhambane. Inhambane is one of the oldest settlements on Mozambique's eastern coast. Dhows traded here as early as the 11th century. Once we leave Inhambane, we drive to the coast to Tofo. After arrival we head to the dive centre to get introduced to the staff and get your equipment sorted. |

Tofo Most people that visit Tofo do so to experience a once in a lifetime encounter with the huge gentle giants of the sea, the Whale Sharks, but Tofo itself has a lot to offer whilst out of the water. Its laid back atmosphere along with beautiful stretches of empty beaches and lively bars and restaurants in the evening makes this a perfect place to relax! Whils diving you may see Giant Moray Eels, Mant Rays, White and Black Tip Reef Sharks and maybe even Leaf Fish and Frog Fish! You have 2 dives today. |

Vilanculos We head to Vilanculos, the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. The Bazaruto Archipelago is a group of 6 islands off the coast of southern Mozambique. They lie within Bazaruto National Park and are known for their white-sand beaches. Bazaruto, with sand dunes, is the largest island. Coral reefs around Magaruque and Santa Carolina islands protect rare marine animals, like dugongs. The wetlands, forests and grasslands of Benguerra Island's interior are home to many bird species. |

Vilanculos Spend the day on and under water while making another 2 dives. |

Vilanculos Another 2 dives are planned for today. |
Day 13 |
Chimoio Today we head away from the beautiful coastal beaches where we drive more inland. We stay over in Chimoio for the night. |
Day 14 |
Malawi - Blantyre We stay over in the biggest city of Malawi, Blantyre for the night. Go out and experience night life in Malawi. |
Day 15 |
Liwonde National Park The park is in southern Malawi, southeast of the capital, Lilongwe. It runs alongside the Shire River and part of Lake Malombe. Rough tracks and footpaths offer views of wildlife such as elephants, hippos and endangered black rhinos. River, grassland and woodland habitats are home to crocodiles, leopards and antelopes. Rich birdlife includes rare species like Pel’s fishing owls and Lilian’s lovebirds. |

Liwonde National Park We do a morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise on the Shire River. |
Day 17 |
Cape Maclear - Fat Monkeys Backpackers Spend the next 3 nights at the very funky Fat Monkeys Backpackers Lodge. |

Cape Maclear - Fat Monkeys Backpackers Part of the Lake Malawi National Park, Cape Maclear is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the world's first freshwater nature reserve, protecting hundreds of species of tropical fish. It is therefore not surprising that Cape Maclear and the nearby islands of Mumbo Island just 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) and Domwe Island; 5 kilometres (3.1 miles) away are popular diving sites - 2 dives planned for today |
