Day 8

Tofo

Most people that visit Tofo do so to experience a once in a lifetime encounter with the huge gentle giants of the sea, the Whale Sharks, but Tofo itself has a lot to offer whilst out of the water. Its laid back atmosphere along with beautiful stretches of empty beaches and lively bars and restaurants in the evening makes this a perfect place to relax! Whils diving you may see Giant Moray Eels, Mant Rays, White and Black Tip Reef Sharks and maybe even Leaf Fish and Frog Fish!

Coral reefs around Magaruque and Santa Carolina islands protect rare marine animals, like dugongs. The wetlands, forests and grasslands of Benguerra Island's interior are home to many bird species.
